This apparatus is used for the determination of the void content of dry compacted filler. The apparatus essentially consists of three components:

1. Metal base size: 100 mm x 150 mm
2. Cylinder: 25 mm internal diameter
3. A plunger of a diameter allowing it to slide freely in the cylinder without lateral play.
